A beautiful mid century highboard by British maker G Plan, finished in richly grained teak.

This one has a really balanced, practical layout. Closed cupboards for hiding things away, open shelving for display, and a run of generous drawers below. Everything feels considered and easy to live with.

The grain is warm and even throughout, with lovely soft curves to the handles and legs that give it that classic G Plan feel without being fussy. It’s solid, well made, and properly functional. 

We’ve fully refinished it in a durable satin hard wax oil to protect the timber while keeping a natural, low-sheen finish. There are still a few light marks and signs of age.

Great as a drinks cabinet, dining storage, or even a home office setup with space for files, and books.
