The G Plan 'Quadrille' Dresser, designed by R Bennet in the 1960s, is a teak masterpiece crafted by UK manufacturer G Plan. It features three wide and three short drawers with solid afromosia oval pulls, 'floating' on a sleigh-leg base. Finished in a hard wax oil, this piece has been fully restored, revealing a stunning teak grain. Its top drawer still retains the original gold 'G Plan' stamp.

    The Designer /

    G Plan Furniture

G Plan is a furniture manufacturing company originally out of High Wycombe, England.
It was the brain child of Donald Gomme, launched in 1952.
The company is best known for democratising Mid Century design and creating bespoke designed furniture sets for British homes. G Plan was revered for their high quality sideboards and dining suites and became a must-have brand in every household. While the furniture was more expensive than the average family could afford, many made the sacrifice to own what was seen as "the best".
We love G Plan for their practical utility, their use of thick teak veneers, their quality craftsmanship and their sculptural detailing.
