    The Designer /

    Framac Furniture

Framac is an Australian company started in the 1950s, now called Sturdy Framac with a transition to office and commercial furniture in 2001. Their first designer was Johan Naess (c1980) and later Lester Bunbury. Their initial ranges were made of steel rod and later, commercial tubular steel. They are best known for their chrome furniture and wood and terrazzo coffee and dining tables. Some of their designs were based on Eeero Aarnio chairs. Their terrazzo work is unique to each individual piece and is truly beautiful and relevant to a contemporary setting.
