1960s Summertone Sideboard in Teak & Tasmanian Blackwood

Crafted in Sydney by Summertone during the golden era of Australian furniture making, this generously proportioned sideboard is a standout example of mid-century elegance. Made from rich teak and Tasmanian blackwood, it boasts striking grain detail throughout, especially across the pair of cupboard doors where the timber almost dances.

Recently refinished in a hand-applied satin lacquer, the piece has a soft lustre that enhances the depth and warmth of the wood without feeling too polished. Four deep drawers with sculpted pulls sit alongside two spacious cupboards, offering ample storage behind clean, sculptural lines.

This one is a slightly longer rendition than other Summertone models we have carried. The sidebeoard is 196cm long, making it a great TV or LP cabinet!
