Brazilian Rosewood Extending Dining Table – Danish, 1960s
A superb Danish dining table crafted from rosewood, stamped “Made in Denmark.” With its rich tone and beautiful grain, this piece has a strong presence while still feeling refined and timeless.
Designed with clean lines and balanced proportions, it comfortably seats six and extends smoothly via concealed sliding leaves to accommodate eight to ten when needed. The extension mechanism glides easily, and the solid rosewood edges add both durability and a sense of quiet craftsmanship.
We have fully refinished the table in a durable hard wax oil, bringing out the depth of the timber while giving it a soft satin finish suited to everyday living. A classic Danish design that feels grounded, elegant and genuinely hardworking.
